- Seoul Animation Center was established in May 1999 by Seoul Metropolitan Government and managed and operated by Seoul Business Agency (SBA) to support and cultivate the Korean comics and animation industry in a systematic manner. Of late, the Seoul Animation Center has expanded the scope of the related industry categories to games and characters, continuing to concentrate on the development of the cultural content business led by the city of Seoul.

Seoul Ani-Cinema is equipped with a total of 179 seats, the cutting-edge projection facilities which can play both digital and analog video contents, 5.1 channel Dolby Digital Surround systems, and the widescreen.
